Rainbows enjoy playing games! Here are some different ways of playing Touch or It. Try them with your Rainbow friends.

Tunnel touch

One Rainbow is chosen to be 'It'. She chases everyone around the room, trying to touch them. Any Rainbow caught, puts an arm against something to make a tunnel. She can be freed by someone running underneath the tunnel.

Colours

Everyone decides on a colour. One Rainbow becomes the chaser and tries to catch the other Rainbows. If anyone touches something of that colour, they are safe. The chaser can call out a different colour if she likes. Anyone who is caught becomes the new chaser.

Three squat tag

A Rainbow is chosen to be 'It'. She chases the other Rainbows. Anyone about to be caught can make herself safe by bending down and touching the ground. This can only be done three times in a game.

Touch wood

One Rainbow chases everyone around the room. They cannot be caught if they are touching something made out of wood.

Everyone's it

In this game, Rainbows chase each other to see how many other Rainbows they can touch. The Rainbow who touches the most is the winner.
